The UMP West Modifieds Return for Race of Champions Round 2

Tucson, Arizona (March 18^th, 2009) – RC Whitwell is ready for round 2 as the UMP West Modified crew looks to knock out the defending champion.  Whitwell will be looking for his second feature win of 2009 as USA Raceway hosts the 1^st Annual Party in the Pits.

2008 UMP West Champ, Anthony Madrid, will return to USA Raceway to stake claim on the $1000 prize.  Fresh off an SWDRA Late Model win at Manzanita Speedway, Madrid will be looking to bring down the champ and enter victory lane for the first time in his career at USA Raceway.

Madrid will be in good company when the best in Texas rolls into town.  Sherman Barnett, Christie Georges and the Barnett Harley Davidson crew will make their USA Raceway debut for 2009.  Georges, 2006 BRA National Champion, will be fully loaded looking for her first victory in 2009.

Tucson racing icon Carl Trimmer along with Jason Noll, Ricky Thornton Jr. and the remaining colossal cast of talented UMP Modified drivers come to Tucson’s premier short track with hopes of victory celebration.

The UMP Modified express returns along with Super Stocks, Modified Midgets and Hornets.  General admission tickets will go on sale at 5pm for only $10, racing will begin promptly at 7pm.

Season Passes are on sale for only $199 and $149 for Seniors, Students and Military.  Suite Access Passes which allow race fans the opportunity to enjoy the races from USA Raceway’s VIP Suite are also on sale for only $349.
